What is Technology Design at DefineX? 

Technology Design focuses on helping client organizations understand, shape, and improve how technology is  designed, governed, and executed across the enterprise. 

• Engagements are executed within the client environment, in close collaboration with client teams and key stakeholders 

• This position is neither a software development role nor a traditional business analyst role 

• The Technology Design function acts as a bridge between business objectives, IT capabilities, architectural frameworks, and execution models, enabling effective and sustainable transformation 

Your Impact: 

As a Technology Design Analyst, you will work as part of a consulting team supporting client engagements by contributing to analysis, structuring, and insight generation across technology and transformation topics. 

• Support the analysis of how IT organizations operate, including governance, delivery, architecture, and platforms 

• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and working sessions under the guidance of senior consultants  

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, identifying opportunities for technology and design improvements 

• Develop detailed business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology capabilities 

• Design and document workflows, processes, and systems to optimize business operations and enhance user experience 

• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making processes 

• Work closely with IT teams to ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed 

• Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive consensus and ensure stakeholder alignment 

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our service offerings 

 
What You Will Learn & Develop: 

• Practical understanding of how large-scale IT organizations and operating models function 

• Strong insight into the structure and operations of banks and complex enterprises 

• Exposure to enterprise-level technology, architecture, and delivery decision-making 

• Experience in translating complex problems into clear, structured, and actionable consulting recommendations 

• Confidence and effectiveness in client-facing and stakeholder-driven environments 

 
What You Bring to the Table: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Engineering or other comparable degrees 

• 0-2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-focused environment 

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements 

• Knowledge on process design and workflow analysis 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders 

• Understanding of project management tools and techniques is a plus 

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus 

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards addressing challenges 

• Exposure to IT technical domains (e.g. software delivery, systems, platforms, architecture, SDLC)  hands-on exposure is a plus 

• Fluent in English
